How to Blow Up on TikTok as a Beauty Professional (Before You Even Graduate)

This is partially due to the variety of content that’s posted and the accessibility it provides its users. Many businesses and professionals use it to grow their own brand by widening their audiences. The same can be said for beauty professionals who want to expand their clientele and build their own business. If you want to take advantage of TikTok, the time to do it is now! Even if you haven’t graduated beauty school, you can still get started on building your brand.

Why TikTok?

While other social media accounts are still important to take advantage of, TikTok has become one of the best apps to put your name out there. Instagram is a more curated app with an algorithm that doesn’t make sense. TikTok allows its users to be “real” and share unfiltered content. Followers appreciate brands that are transparent, especially beauty professionals. Because of this, it’s important to document and share realistic content that you would enjoy watching. 

Promote Across Multiple Social Media Platforms

That being said about TikTok, it’s still important to cross-promote your content. TikTok videos are easily turned into Reels for Instagram and Facebook so you can reach a wider audience. There are still people who prefer to use these apps to follow their favorite businesses. You’ll want to make yourself as visible and accessible to as many people as possible!

When an audience sees that you are interacting with them, they are often encouraged to comment more. Other commenters see you responding and ask questions or provide feedback since they know you’re reading what they have to say.
