Cosmetology has become a popular choice in education for many reasons. The freedom to create and flexibility to choose your own schedule appeals to many people. But what can you expect from this field?

Cosmetology is the study and practice of beauty treatments, including but not limited to: hair cutting, hair coloring, makeup artistry, and skincare services. Cosmetologists are often responsible for starting and pushing new trends in the beauty industry. A future in cosmetology can introduce many opportunities.

So How Long Does it Take to Get a Cosmetology License?

It is possible to complete our 1500 hour cosmetology program in as little as 43 weeks with a full-time schedule and 60 weeks part-time. For more flexible scheduling, we also offer night classes that can be completed in as little as 115 weeks.

Cincinnati:
Full-time: Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Part-time: Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Night: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, 4:30 p.m.-9 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Fairfield:
Full-time: Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Part-time: Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Night: Tuesday & Wednesday 4:30 p.m.-9 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

If you work mornings, our night schedule may be the way to go! If you have an open schedule, our full-time program could be the right fit. It is up to you to choose how to best fit your beauty goals into your schedule!
