A Rich History
For more than half a century, Moler Beauty Academy has maintained its strong heritage and tradition of training future beauty professionals for rewarding careers in the industry. In 1958, Joseph Hornsby began directing the Moler-System of Beauty Culture in downtown Cincinnati. Upon Mr. Hornsby’s death, Mark IV Hairstylists acquired the school through his estate in January of 1972. On June 18, 1973, Moler-System of Beauty Culture acquired the student enrollments of the Hollywood School of Hair Designing and changed the name to the Moler-Hollywood Beauty College. The current name, Moler Pickens Inc. was established in 1983.
The school is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts (NACCAS) and Sciences located at 4401 Ford Avenue Suite 1300, Alexandria, VA 22303.
